Creating Hype Around The Holidays

Date

Holidays are a special time to celebrate, get friends together, and give your business the potential to land new customers & strengthen relationships with your existing customers. Your business can thrive when you incorporate holidays into your business and marketing plans. Find the holidays that give you the most joy – and resonate with your target audience – and create your marketing plan around them to win!

How do you do this, you ask? Here are the top 4 ways to generate buzz during holidays and engage your customers like never before.

  1. Pure Romance corporate office provides shareables and assets: The corporate office works ahead to celebrate national & international holidays to ensure you can plan the sales you want to promote. This is one of the easiest ways to promote your business to your VIP Group. The promotional and marketing assets are already created for you, all you have to do is share them with your customers. Utilize the PR Connect app which gives you not only beautiful shareable images, but also prewritten messages to attach along with the picture to really drive home your marketing efforts. Think about this: the longer you are in business, the easier your marketing plan gets because you have already created and executed a marketing plan for the holidays you want to promote. You can recycle your ideas for years to come in your business.
  1. Decorate your demo table/office space: Now is the time to be creative and give your office space or demo table a new life by adding a few accessories. This can be as simple as adding a few decorative items to your demo table, such as hearts for Valentine’s Day, 4 leaf clovers for St. Patrick’s Day, or sparkle tablecloth for New Years. These can be cost-effective marketing techniques, as you can get these supplies for cheap through Amazon, the Dollar Store, or Target’s dollar section. Check out the Pure Romance Pinterest Board for themes and ideas.
  1. Attend networking events in your community: No matter what the holiday is, you can almost always count on a community-wide event to get folks out of their houses and interacting with each other. You can find events near you on social media, Facebook, Instagram, or even your local newspaper or community groups. This is the perfect opportunity for you to take advantage of events happening in your area. Take the chance to go out and meet potential new customers and build your network. If you post on social media that you will be out at this event, your current customers will see you participating in the community! Plus, you can even ask them to meet you there. Bring business cards, sample packs, and wear some PR Gear to stand out, you never know who might ask you what Pure Romance is!
  1. Opportunity for an open house for your VIPs: People want to have a reason to party. So, give them one! Add a holiday-related theme to your open house and invite your VIPs to the event. Make the event exclusive. This can be held in your home or a space in your community. A great way to hold a party in your community is by making connections with local small business stores and presenting the party plan to that business owner. This will not only help you attract new customers, but it may boost business for that business owner as well. This is a networking event you could hold quarterly or even monthly for your business. Keep it simple with light appetizers & drinks. For ideas on how to set up a booth at an open house & how to follow up with the potential leads you will meet, check out the Marketing section > The Set Up of Your Booth on the training website.

Now you will be fully prepared to incorporate holidays into your business plan. Try out one, two, or all four ways to incorporate holidays and see the boost it brings to your business!
